“ My friend and I were in the middle ground to meet for breakfast. We found the Morning Rose Café to be the perfect spot to meet. Bedford Avenue in Bellmore area is a pleasant neighborhood place for small restaurants and mom & pop shops. It is just a short walk to the from the train station. When I arrived at the Morning Rose Cafe from its red-bricked sidewalk, it resembled a home on a corner of the village. Once we entered the long hallway to the reception desk, the indoor dining was small and crowded. The indoor dining room was unassuming and a bit loud. We chose to dine outdoors along the sidewalk. The service was attentive and pleasant. Their menu options had many of your traditional breakfast items along with chicken on a waffle. I chose their avocado bread with eggs that included bacon, and my friend had Montecristo. Both breakfast items were good. I ordered tea, and they charged me an extra one dollar for honey. That was the first time I have ever seen that, but I guess honey cost can add up. I also thought the restaurant was pricey, but then again, our dining experience was good. ”

The service is usually good, and the staff is attentive. The cafe has a cozy atmosphere, and the outdoor seating area is a great option. Be sure to join the waitlist early, especially on weekends, as it can get busy. I definitely recommend Morning Rose Cafe for brunch.
